Martin Luther's early Reformation writings, from the Ninety-Five Theses of 1517 through the mid-1520s, gathered by John Dillenberger. They set out justification by faith alone, the freedom of a Christian, the priesthood of all believers and the authority of scripture over popes and councils, in prose that is by turns pastoral and ferocious.
